Media Formats Supported

NJVid currently supports the following video formats natively

MPEG-4 (H.264 video + AAC audio) - Recommended

FLV (Flash)

Videos that are not in a format supported are automatically converted to MPEG-4 or Flash (FLV). The LoD system of NJVid currently supports uploading of the following non-native video formats.

Windows Media (WMV)

QuickTime MOV

MPEG-1, MPEG-2

Note: Institutions are advised to upload videos in MPEG-4 and/or Flash (FLV) for better quality control.
