Is NJVID commercial video service available only to institutions or for individual and public access?

A. Currently NJVID is offered only through educational institutions around New Jersey for access to their Students and Faculty members.
NJVID is not available on individual membership basis or for general public access. However NJVid offers many titles under the NJVID Commons Collection which are free and open to the general public for viewing purposes.

Does my institution have to be a member of VALE or NJEDGE to subscribe to the NJVID commercial service?

A. You can now avail of discounted pricing from vendors by simply subscribing to NJVID, no prior membership of VALE or NJEDGE is required.

I am a faculty/student. How do I subscribe to a commercial video title I am interested on the NJVID website?

A. Please contact your institution librarian who will be able to assist you in getting access to the title you need.

I am an institution librarian. How do I add video/s to our institution's collection on NJVID?

A. If you have licenced titles already present on NJVID or interested in purchasing titles from a vendor please contact us at support@njvid.net to get a copy of the NJVID Policy and Procedure document which explains the licensing procedure and how to add videos to your collection.

My Institution has licenced a particular video, but I can't seem to access it on the NJVID Website?

A. If your institution has followed instructions mentioned in the NJVID Policy and Procedure document, and you still do not have access to the Video on NJVID please contact us at support@njvid.net with details such as the Title name and collection. Our support staff will assist you in getting access to the video in the shortest time possible.

How to subscribe to NJVID Commercial Service?

A. Subscribing is easy, just fill up the Subscription form available here to get started. A Shibboleth system installation is required to access all commercial videos and features on NJVID. Email us at support@njvid.net and we shall guide you through the process.
